Sustainable Mercy in Finance at LUMSA

Time: April 18, 2016
Place: LUMSA University, Rome

Libera Università Maria Ss. Assunta (LUMSA) is co-organising with the International Research Centre on Cooperative Finance and three other organisations, an international event about “Sustainable Mercy in Finance”.

Sustainable Mercy in Finance means the willingness to “give a second chance” to individuals who have failed but have promising projects to recover but lacked the track record or the collateral to be able to reach a sufficient score to convince lenders.

Monique Leroux, President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group and Chair of the Board of the IRCCF founding Institute, will be giving a speech on the following conundrum: “Can Cooperative Banks Ensure Sustainable Mercy in Finance?”.

Rym Ayadi, Director of the IRCCF, will speak at the round table dealing with: “Banks Regulation, Business Models and Sustainable Mercy in Finance” and will conclude the event with Giovanni Ferri, member of the Scientific Board of IRCCF.

Libera Università Maria Ss. Assunta (LUMSA) is a partner of the founding Institute of IRCCF.
